West Virginia Whitewater Rafting

| | Comments (0)

Last weekend I met up with my friends Jon and Katie in Washington D.C. where we departed for West Virginia. The three of us along with 16 other friends of Katie met there for a weekend of camping and whitewater rafting. This was my first time rafting and I was assuming we would be simply floating along a river through some nice little rapids. Surprisingly enough, our trip included class 4 and four class 5 rapids for us to navigate through (for those who don't know, class 5 means there is a probably chance of death if the rapids are not properly navigated).

We were fortunate to have rafting video taped and you can view the video here. Also, I have posted pictures here from the weekend.
