I just got back to Minneapolis for the first time since New Year's. My extended leave from the frigid north is due mainly to skiing, one trip to Montana and one to Canada. For my first trip, I met Steve and Kate in Bozeman, Montana. I was lucky enough to enjoy both the comforts of home cook meals from Kate's family and two spectacular days skiing in Bridger Bowl. The only low point of the trip was getting schooled by Kate's 15 and 18 year old brothers.
My second ski trip was to Whistler in Canada, a dream of mine for at least 6 years. The mountain met all my expectations, although I spent all my time on Blackholm and never made it to the Whistler side. I went with some colleagues and their friends and had a damn good time, eh?
