The End of San Francisco

| | Comments (1)

It's been about 14 months now that I've been staffed in San Francisco, flying each week to work far too much in a city I've barely had a chance to know. Now it is the last week... That's right; I will be rolling off my current project and heading (hopefully) for some time off.

Although I've spent over a year in San Francisco, there is still much of the city I never had a chance to experience. This past weekend I made an attempt to make up for my lack of tourism and saw some sites. The most notable two were the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) and Alcatraz. In keeping with my tourism, I took a bunch of pictures which I posted here. I was particularly excited about the sunset from Alcatraz shown below.

I am leaving my project here with mixed feelings. I have had a painful experience with all the hours I put in (almost every weekend for a year), but I have met some amazing people that I like to call my friends. Leaving my project friends behind in the great city of San Francisco is not easy to do. However, I'm ready to move on and find something new (after taking some time off). The coming weekend I'm heading to Tahoe for my final hurrah to California.

Congratulations on being done! I'm happy for you :) What's next?
