Random Thoughts

I finally purchased a digital camera. Now I can post pictures instead of limited text excerpts of my life. My first attempt at this is to describe my place.

Prompted by a recent dinner conversation and given the adequate amount of free time I have had lately, I put some thought towards the topic of fate. I personally do not believe in fate / predestination, but to those who do, I question if I understand the idea correctly.

Fate is the idea that events in our lives have been predetermined, and our life's objective is to uncover what fate has planned for us. Essentially, the belief in fate is the disbelief in free will. I find this view of life rather pessimistic as our lives are mere paths determined by some other force.

I guess VH1 learned how to count, because that's all every show on the channel does.

Mike, as Clint alluded to, you need to spend more time focusing on bringing more ladies over to the house and not so much on fate versus free will. Of course it better be on their own free will or you'll suffer one horrible fate.

And yes, I did consider a free-willie joke.

I thought my talk about free will was quite the aphrodisiac. I just assumed ladies would just start stopping over after reading something as well written as that.

That's cute Mike. Ya know, that you think that. Go get 'em tiger.
