Last week I met two of my college friends, Ian and Brad, in sunny Florida for a week long vacation. We all arrived in Tampa where we spent three days at Clearwater Beach. Before leaving the Tampa area, we spent a day at Busch Gardens and then went to South Miami Beach for three days. We finished up with a day in Ft. Lauderdale and a final day in Tampa.
In Clearwater, we enjoyed a couple nice days on the beach and one night out at a club, Sheppard's. We enjoyed dollar drinks and an unattractive wet t-shirt contest. While clubbing it up, I ran into a 6'9" high school friend that I had not seen in probably 7 years. It is crazy who you will meet when traveling.
Next we went to South Beach where we did our fair share of drinking and spending time on the beach. On our last night there, we partied with some ladies from Detroit that we met on the beach and had quite the good time.
By the time we arrived in Ft. Lauderdale, we just wanted to relax and were not planning on partying at all. That all changed when we walked into a restaurant with an 80� beer special. We ended up going to a few different bars before walking a mile home along the beach.
